The heart and soul of Compassionate In-Home Care began with our beloved founder, Chandra Greenberg — a woman of faith whose kindness, strength, and love for helping others became the foundation of everything we stand for today.

Chandra began her journey in the medical field in the Philippines, where caring for others was not just a profession, but a calling from God. When she came to California, she continued to serve with compassion as a personal caregiver in the Pasadena area. Her gentle spirit and unwavering dedication earned the trust and respect of many families and doctors.

Clients would often tell her, “If only we could find someone as good as you.”

That simple wish inspired her to start Compassionate In-Home Care, so more families could experience the same level of love and care she gave so freely.

Chandra trained and guided many caregivers — teaching them not just the skills of caregiving, but the heart behind it. She often reminded them that caring for others is a sacred act of service, reflecting God’s love in everyday life.

Through the years, Chandra shared her wisdom and faith with her children and her daughter-in-law, passing on her deep sense of purpose and compassion.

Today, her youngest son Rechan and his wife Mae proudly carry on her legacy — leading the company with the same spirit of love, humility, and grace that Chandra lived by.

As a family-owned and operated agency, we continue her mission:
